Air New Zealand flies weekly to Niue via Auckland, New Zealand. Several US carrier and international airlines connect the United States with Auckland, among them American Airlines in code share with Qantas Airlines, United Airlines in code share with Air New Zealand, and Air Tahiti Nui from Los Angeles and New York City.
Niue has a brand new hospital in Alofi, Niue Island. No vaccinations are required to stay on the island but visitors should be careful with coral cuts and bring antiseptic cream.
